Village of Fears – Fairytale Land of Gotania in Moroczyn
The thematic village initially referred to the tradition of scarecrows that stood in the fields. The animators wanted to show the old village – peaceful, but also full of superstitions. A field game was also developed on this basis. Currently, the village is trying to cultivate local heritage and create educational materials.
Village history
The beginnings of the thematic village date back to 2008, when the Rural Women’s Association “Czerwona Jarzębina” started building a Fairy Tale Garden, developing lesson plans, purchasing costumes and participating in training. The village was opened in 2012. Its attractions are located mainly on the property belonging to the village community center.

The village’s offer is addressed mainly to organized groups (usually preschoolers and children up to the 5th grade of primary school). The attractions can also be used by individual guests and families with children, who have the most attractions here.
- guided tours of outdoor exhibitions (archaeological, scares, historical and educational path “Manor in Moroczyn”) and in the common room,
- multimedia presentations showing the heritage of the place,
- thematic animations for children,
- integration, fitness and training games,
- field games,
- fun in the Fairytale Garden,
- spending time actively on the playground and in the fitness park, ziplining,
- art workshop,
- theater plays or vocal performances of the Vocal and Theater Ensemble “Czerwona Jarzębina”,
- fun around the bonfire with Gypsy songs and dances together with the “Czerwona Jarzębina” Vocal and Theater Ensemble,
- bonfire with sausage roasting.
