Fantasy Village in Kuńkowce
The village’s specialty is field games. This village was created to become a living set in which actors prepare adventures on individual orders. The village brings together animators, artists, volunteers, enthusiasts, craftsmen and builders who provide services in the field of creating games for children and adults.
Village history
Fantasy Village was founded by fantasy lovers. The main goal was to build a settlement that would look like a wooden fortified town. The village was established in 2010 and comes from the youth organization Klub Fantastki – Przemyśl Guild of Fantastyki. The leader of the Fantasy Club was Remigiusz Maciupa, who developed his hobby into a lifestyle. Fantasy Village refers to the literature of sword and sorcery, the world of fiction and fairy tales, but against the background of medieval Poland. The village was created on the basis of, among others, novels such as “The Lord of the Rings” or “The Hobbit”, a series of stories and novels about The Witcher, fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm and Polish legends and fairy tales.
The thematic village offer includes:
- visitors can see in the village: a network of fortifications with a palisade, towers and defensive ramparts, a defensive fort with a castle, an inn, a bathhouse, a forge, a stable and ten medieval cottages.
- possibility of using fireplace gazebos
- cyclical events, including: May Festival, Kupala Night and an annual winter game in the world of “A Song of Ice and Fire” by George Martin,
- outdoor games and activities for children and teenagers.
